Welcome!

Welcome to the Humane Animal Treatment Society (HATS) blog--a blog about responsible pet care and ownership. HATS is a local non-profit who's mission is to promote animal welfare and one way we do that is to educate the public about how to be excellent humans to their animal companions. We will be covering a variety of topics, from the importance of having your pet neutered or spayed (neuter is for males, spay is for females) to how to choose a new pet to tips on how to help your pet be comfortable and safe in hot (and cold) weather. Let us know what you would like to learn about.

  2. Thanks Tickets and Albi! Glad to know you found your forever home. Any suggestions on what you would like humans to know about being a responsible pet owner?
